Don't you just hate these so called articles about predictions? I know I do. But it's Saturday, the day before the HUGE game against the Indianapolis Colts and I have some extra time on my hands so I decided to write my “prediction”. Tomorrow is going to be a great day. Not only am I anxious, but I also find myself a bit nervous thinking about the big game. The New York Jets are playing in the AFC Championship Game. It's 2010. Long have Vinny Testaverde, Wayne Chrebet, Curtis Martin and Bill Parcells been gone, they are now just shadows of this organization. Because the last time the Jets made the AFC Championship Game those players were there for it in 1998 and they lost a hard fought battle with the great John Elway and the Denver Broncos. We now have Mark Sanchez, Jerricho Cotchery, Shonn Greene and the hugely popular Rex Ryan along with a brand spanking new era in Jets Football. This is now Ryan's team. A team of swagger, humor, defense and loyalty to one another. A team that should be feared by their opposition each and every Sunday. But that isn't to say the Colts are a team to fear also, because they are. Peyton Manning is the best quarterback in the league and Reggie Wayne is also one of the top receiver's in the league. These two along with Joseph Addai, Pierre Garcon and rookie Austin Collie are the guys to look at on offense. Led by Dwight Freeney they also have a defense to try and beat also. This isn't about who has had the better team through the 2009-10 season. This is going to be about who has the best team Sunday. This is an all new NFL season. So who will actually come out on top? As a die hard Jets fan, of course I am hoping the Jets play their very best and shut down the Colts like they have done in the playoffs in the past. But as a logical sports fan I know this is no easy task. So let the prediction lay in itself and let the winner be produced to us on Sunday. But we would love to hear who you think will win and your final score for the game so please leave some comment for us. But here at MVP Gotham, we are pulling for our New York Jets!
Editor's Note: Final score 23-20 with the win going the way of the J-E-T-S JETS JETS JETS!!!!
