The New York Jets have acquired cornerback Antonio Cromartie from the San Diego Chargers.

New York will be sending a conditional draft pick in 2011 to the team they ousted in the playoffs this year for their top CB.

Cromartie, 25, had 33 tackles and 3 interceptions this season.

The Jets have been looking for a CB to stick next to their superstar Darrelle Revis. They thought they had that when they acquired Lito Sheppard from the Philadelphia Eagles last off-season but Sheppard turned out to be a complete bust and lost a lot of playing time to young Dwight Lowery.
