*The LA Kings and Montreal Canadians have a deal in place that would send Frolov from the Kings to the Canadians. This deal has not been passed through the NHL offices yet as LA is waiting as they hope to acquire Ray Whitney or Slava Kozlov (from Atlanta) before the deal is complete. *The New Jersey Devils made a huge splash by acquiring Ilya Kovalchuck, but I have been told they have also inquired about Matt Cullen of Carolina and Peter Mueller of Phoenix.
