The New York Rangers have acquired enforcer Jody Shelley from the San Jose Sharks. The Rangers will be sending a 2011 sixth round pick to the Sharks in exchange for Shelley, but the pick will automatically turn into a fifth round selection if the Rangers end up re-signing Shelley.
