Knicks Rout T-Wolves

Poor Minnesota. Not only do the Timberwolves stink, they have horrible timing.

After being embarrassed by 50 points Sunday by Dallas, the Knicks let out all their fury on the hapless 'Wolves. The Knicks played like their aim was to take a 50-point lead -- by halftime.

In one of the greatest reversal of fortunes point-wise in NBA history, the skidding Knicks sped to a 15-0 lead, led by 27 points after nine minutes and cruised to a 132-105 wire-to-wire blasting of the Minnesota to restore life back into a sputtering season.

"We definitely wanted to get the taste of the 50-point loss out of our mouths," said Al Harrington, who scored 26 points. "Everybody was just locked in."

The Knicks (18-26), who suffered their worst home loss in their history Sunday, entered the night having lost six of eight games and started to lose sight of the eighth seed.
