Knicks Acquire Eddie House

The New York Knicks have acquired Eddie House, JR Giddens and Bill Walker from the Boston Celtics.

In order to acquire House who played under coach Mike D'Antoni in Phoenix, the Knicks have sent Nate Robinson and Marcus Landry to the Celtics.

Robinson fell out of favor quick with D'Antoni when he proved after multiple chances that he couldn't run an effective offense. He could score in bunches, but the losses mounted up with Nate shooting and not passing.

Sources were saying that GM Donnie Walsh actually got Boston to throw in a 1st round pick with this deal but that wasn't the case. Boston knew the Knicks wanted to get rid of Robinson and held firm.

This was the best package the Knicks could get for an expiring contract of a player they were not interested in re-signing this off-season.

I don't think they are getting any of the big three (Wade, James, Bosh). It's a nice try though!
