Brandon Coleman, a 6-foot-6 receiver from Bishop McNamara in Forrestville, MD, will commit to Rutgers this afternoon, according to a source close to the wideout. Coleman, who participated in the Under Armour All-American game last month, was one of the top remaining uncommitted wide receivers in the nation. Rivals.com gave him four stars. Coleman also held offers from Boston College, Maryland, Notre Dame, Syracuse, Virginia Tech and Wake Forest. The source indicated that Coleman's relationship with Rutgers coach Greg Schiano was the deciding factor in the decision, despite the fact that the Scarlet Knights lost their wide receiver coach this offseason and Joe Susan, who is in charge of recruiting.
