The Bills have signed NFL veteran coach George Edwards to be their new defensive chief. Edwards coached linebackers in Miami for the past five seasons. He left Miami a month ago to accept a position as co-coordinator at the University of Florida. However, that position proved to be short-lived. In joining the Bills, Edwards is reuniting with Buffalo head coach Chan Gailey. Edwards was linebackers coach in Dallas when Gailey was head coach of the Cowboys, in 1998 and '99.
